Sophomore Eleanor Raker and senior Alyssa Bronander, teammates at Galena High in Nevada, placed second and third in the girls varsity large school race at the Tom Laythe Invitational at the Willow Hills Course in Folsom, Calif. Raker covered the 5-kilometer layout in 19:18.54 and Bronander ran 19:33.80 for Galena, which took third overall with 125 points.
